About me
I am a qualified psychotherapist with a Master’s in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Goldsmiths, University of London, and 10 years’ experience as an NHS social worker, including training in South Africa. As a psychotherapist, I have supported individuals facing trauma, addiction, and a range of mental health challenges.
The psychodynamic approach is different from other therapies in its focus on understanding the deeper roots of emotional difficulties. Rather than following a fixed agenda, it offers you a space to explore your thoughts and feelings freely, and to speak about whatever feels most important to you.
I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, and loss. Together, we can explore patterns in your thoughts and relationships, helping you to better understand yourself and move towards greater resilience and personal growth.
Therapeutic process
You are welcome to get in touch via email to arrange a brief, confidential call (free of charge). During this call, we can touch on your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and some background information.
This is not a therapy session or an in-depth consultation, but an opportunity to consider whether we might be a good fit. If appropriate, we can then arrange a consultation.
